Welcome!

I've finished transitioning from my old, rather primitive website of 25 years (beyondthetrees.com) to this spiffy new one.  I have a lot of pictures of unique and unusual instruments that I've built over the last 50 years, and I'll be displaying them here, as time allows.  I will also be featuring new instruments as they come along, and although I build mostly on commission there will undoubtedly be some for sale that will appear.  So, enjoy what's here so far, and check back again soon.  I think I'm safe in saying you'll not find many other collections of stringed instruments as unique as this.  Thanks for visiting, and please be in touch if you have any questions, comments, or would like to discuss the possibility of commissioning or purchasing an instrument.
